Project - Aero's Quest (Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University, Spring 2011)

An Android sidescroller game drawing from data recorded by an accompanying device to motivate children of ages 7-9 to remain active.

 

 


Building Virtual Worlds (Entertainment Technology at Carnegie Mellon University, Fall 2010)

A semester-long course consisting of several short-term projects of 2-4 weeks involving 4-person teams consisting of programmers, artists, and sound designers.

 

My role involved composing original music and performing the sound design using an existing library, free audio assets online, and audio-editing software (Adobe Audition, Reaper, Logic Express, Pro Tools) to modify the assets to suit the piece.

 

  • Round 5 - Gatorpig: The Magic in the Bottle

          An experience about creative block involving live acting and an electronic game created in Flash, parodying the archetypal adventure. 

 

 

  • Round 4 - A Monk, A Forest, and...

          A pensive experience about an individual's journey for atonement.

 

 

  • Round 3 - Domestic Dispute of the Gods

          An audience-interaction experience drawing from Panda Phone technology and live theatrics to convey the story of feuding Greek gods. 

 

 

  • Round 2 - Spy 101

          A head-mounted-display experience about infilitrating a top-secret headquarters.

 

          A platform adventure of a misplaced birthday candle trying to escape the freezer and angry ice cubes.
